According to the data released by the Department of consumer goods industry of the Ministry of industry and information technology of the people's Republic of China, from January to December 2020, among the main products of the battery manufacturing industry in China, the output of lithium-ion batteries was 18.85 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.4%; the output of lead-acid batteries was 227.356 million KVAh, a year-on-year increase of 16.1%; the output of primary batteries and primary battery packs (non button) was 40.84 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.6%.

Among them, in December, the output of lithium-ion batteries was 2.17 billion, up 26.4% year on year; the output of lead-acid batteries was 24.901 million KVAh, up 20.9% year on year; the output of primary batteries and primary battery packs (non button) was 4.17 billion, up 9.0% year on year.
